  • The Navarre Beach Area is located on the sugary-white beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, at the Southern tip of Santa Rosa County.  A proud, diverse, family-friendly community, we boast beautifully conserved beaches, 'A-rated' schools, award winning golf, fabulous fishing and much, much more.  Even better?  The beautiful Gulf of Mexico serving as the backdrop for all that the Navarre Beach Area has to offer.  Famous Florida sunshine warming the sugar-white beaches, dolphin and herons playing in the emerald green waters...it's no wonder the Navarre Beach Area has earned the title 'Florida's Best Kept Secret.'

In 2010, Navarre Beach was recognized as one of only four nationwide winners of the American Shore and Beach Preservation Association's (ASBPA) 'Best Restored Beach' award.  Two years later, in 2012, Navarre Beach was once again recognized by the (ASBPA), and its 2006 restoration project was dubbed a winner of its 'Best of the Best' Restored Beaches contest.

The military is a major component of the area's local economy.  Hurlburt Field, located just 10 miles east of Navarre, has been home of the Air Commandos since 1961.  Another local military installation, Eglin Air Force Base, covers 464,000 acres in the panhandle of Florida and Naval Air Station Pensacola is the initial primary training base for all Navy, Marine and Coast Guard aviators and Flight Officers.  We are proud of our strong association with the military and grateful for the service of the many men and women who call the Navarre Area home.
