    2016 Ambassadors Roster

    Chamber Ambassadors
    are Chamber members in good standing who volunteer for a 12-month term to enhance member retention and involvement. Ambassadors are individuals who know the Chamber well, and can help educate new and existing members about the benefits of membership and involvement. Ambassadors are some of the most visible Chamber members, and have the opportunity to increase their network, as well as their leadership skills through the ambassador program.

    PURPOSE

    Ambassadors are highly visible volunteers who serve as the Chamber’s primary liaison to new and current Chamber members. Considered the goodwill arm of the Chamber, the Ambassador committee plays an essential role in member communication and retention.

    ROLE

    Ambassadors actively promote membership in the Chamber, facilitate networking among members and encourage meaningful participation and involvement in Chamber programs and events in order to enhance the membership benefits received by each member, strengthen member commitment and increase long-term member retention.

    What is an Ambassador?

    An Ambassador is an official representative of the Chamber of Commerce, a front line volunteer.

    Who can serve as an Ambassador? 

    Any current Chamber member in good standing may apply.

    When does the Ambassador Committee meet? 

    The Navarre Chamber Ambassador Committee meets quarterly on the third Wednesday of the month at 11:30 am. 

    Why serve as an Ambassador? 

    Serving as an Ambassador allows you to become more involved in the business community. This results in increased networking opportunities, enhanced visibility for your business and numerous opportunities to market and promote your products and services.

    What commitment is required? 

    Ambassadors are expected to particpate in ribbon cuttings and open houses as often as possible. All Ambassadors are required to volunteer for at least one event per quarter (Connect1730, Commerce & Coffee) by working as greeter, 50/50 ticket sales or the door prize table. 

    What sort of recognition is there for Ambassadors? 

    Serving as an Ambassador provides you with a greater level of responsibility within the Chamber. As font-line volunteers you have the opportunity to interact with members as part of ribbon cuttings and other events. Each quarter an Ambassador will be selected as 'Ambassador of the Quarter' and will be eligible to win the prestigious Ambassador of the Year award given out at the Chamber Annual Banquet.
