The UF/IFAS Santa Rosa County Extension Service is hosting an Introduction to Cottage Foods class on Thursday, November 5, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the UF/IFAS Extension Offices, 6263 Dogwood Drive in Milton. Attendees will learn about the following topics:

• Florida cottage food law basics
• What is and is not a cottage food
• Food safety basics for cottage food production
• Cottage food business resources
• Labeling procedures
• Allowable points of sale for cottage foods
