State Road 87 South Resurfacing Project to Begin in Santa Rosa County

This April, the Florida Department of Transportation will begin a $5 million resurfacing project on State Road (S.R.) 87, from south of East Bay Boulevard (County Road 399/Turkey Bluff Road) to Vonnie Tolbert Road, in Santa Rosa County.  
 
This project also includes:
  • Sidewalk and crosswalk improvements, including Americans with Disabilities Act upgrades. 
  • Signalization upgrades. 
  • Stormwater management enhancements.
  • New signing and pavement markings.
 
During construction, drivers may encounter overnight periodic lane closures that will be limited to 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Additionally, there will be periodic bicycle and pedestrian detours and closures that will not exceed 72 hours.
