Santa Rosa County Library System Invites Community to Celebrate 20th Anniversary

The Santa Rosa County Library System is celebrating 20 years of stories, learning and community, and everyone is invited to be part of the celebration.

The 20th Anniversary Celebration: A Story of Community will be held Saturday, Oct. 3, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Santa Rosa County libraries. Community members are invited to drop in throughout the day and enjoy special anniversary activities for all ages.

Since officially becoming the Santa Rosa County Library System in 2006, the libraries have been part of countless stories throughout Santa Rosa County — from first library cards and storytimes to research projects, community programs, new discoveries and lifelong learning.

For the past 20 years, patrons and families have helped shape the story of the library system. The anniversary celebration is an opportunity to recognize that shared history and thank the community for its continued support of Santa Rosa County libraries.

Drop by your local library and join the celebration as the Santa Rosa County Library System marks 20 years of stories and community.

Please note: The Milton Library is temporarily closed and will not be open for the Oct. 3 celebrations. Milton patrons are encouraged to join the festivities at another Santa Rosa County library location.
